Repair Spotlight: Restoring a Damaged USB Port on an Audio Processor

Recently, a customer brought in their audio processor after the USB port was accidentally torn off. A damaged port like this can make the device completely unusable, but with careful soldering and trace reconstruction, the repair was possible.
I meticulously soldered the replacement USB port and rebuilt the damaged PCB traces to restore full functionality. The device was tested thoroughly and returned to the customer fully operational the very next day
